HOW TO MAKE A CUP OF FRESH AND SWEET ICE CENDOL

This is one of famous Indonesian food which is very popular.
Es cendol (Ice Cendol) or Es Dawet (ice Dawet) is a beverage choice with other traditional drinks on a hot day. Cendol is generally made from rice flour, but to get a different creations you can also use different variants of flour. Due to the use of the type of flour or a combination of the type of flour will affect the taste and texture of the grain characters of cendol itself. Here's one way to make cendol by using "hunkwe" blend with flour and rice flour.

The Ingredients :
1. 100 grams of hunkwe flour (note : you can find it easily at traditional market in Indonesia or mall.
2. 50 grams of rice flour
3. 100 milli litresof water or you can plus with flavaour you'd loce such as strawberry or grape.
4. 1 spoon of salt
5. 700 milli litres of water.

For the sauce :
1. 500 grams of brown sugar
2. 100 grams of sugar low callori
3. 300 milli litres of water 
4. your own flavour 

How to make Coconut Milk Sauce :
1. 1000 milli liters of coconut milk
2. 1/2 spoon of salt
3. add your flavour (if you like)

And here is : How to make this fresh and sweet Ice Cendol :
1. Combine hunkwe flour, rice flour, water, salt and water. Stir well and cook over low heat, stirring gently until cooked, thick and bubbling.
2. Pour the batter into cendol's mold gradually while press it to form it, also prepare a container of cold water to accommodate grain cendol. Store in the refrigerator to keep it fresh.
3. Cook the sauce ingredients, strain and set aside. 
4. Prepare glasses or serving bowls, put your cendol which has been drained, flush with coconut sauce and fresh sugar sauce and serve chilled with ice cubes or crushed ice. 
5. Your fresh and sweet ice cendol is ready to be served. Enjoy with your family or friends.

Keynote : The type and quality of flour that we used will affect the amount of water needed. Water should not be mixed completely, if the batter is too thick when cooked, add a little water while stirring until dough viscosity is expected to get and easy to set up.
